Bourret Township was established in 1897 and is located in the north-east corner of Gladwin County. The Tittabawassee River runs through the township in the small community of Wildwood Shores. Bourret Township houses many vacation homes along with permanent residents. The township includes a fire department, convenience store, tavern, boat launch and state land for your recreational pleasures. Along with these many great features the Council on Aging provides lunches and activities at the hall for seniors during the week.
